I'd highly suggest downloading the rom and playing it on an emulator but here's a web version.

No one asked but I put undertale on the Gameboy, IF you on interested in how I did it, watch the video here:

only work in Game boy

Not bad

also how to run a gb file on CHROME?

please continueeeeeeeee I'm on chrome so i cant run Undertale IM DESPERATE FOR MORE

chromeOS?? its only work on gameboy

no it dont cuz i just did the whole project on pc

ADD MORE PLEASE I NEED MORE if you do add more you could try doing github so it is the own browser

Would you ever consider releasing the GB Studio project files publicly? Personally would love to keep iterating on this and I’m sure many people are curious too.

I made a persona dedicated to just recreating the entire soundtrack on one Gameboy. I echo your sentiment. I'm sad it will just probably never happen.

I did the impossible....  :D

i missed it and the video got deleted ri

It's unfortunate too... I did a lot of work on that song..

but no one cared so I deleted my acct.

That's amazing

Hi, I'm not sure what to do when I get to flowey? He doesn't talk and no matter what I click it doesnt do anything, also when I try to walk into the ruins it doesn't let me. I'm not sure. I'm playing the browser game

Long time nintendo fan and employee you need to take this down for copyright infringement, jk

This is great. Makes me want to give deving a game a try. Your battle theme needs a little work lol. I wrote a slightly better unfinished one in LSDJ a while ago.

Yeah I was kind of tired and just wanted to finish by the point I was doing music, with a fresh mind I could definitely make everything sound better. I just didn't want to learn a tracker as I've been very accustomed to how DAWs work

I want to really make this happen but I know it would be a lot of work. I'm accustomed to trackers and was going to do the entire OST in LSDJ. I realised though that it would be better to just do it in huGE because that would make it possible to port in.

bruhhhhh

This is too cute! Your sprites of Frisk and Toriel is definitely way cuter than the OG ones! Nice job Chrono

THIS WAS THE BEST FAN MADE UNDERTALE EVER. AND ON WEB?

Does the rom contain the full game experience the original does but in a Gameboy asthetic?

(+1)

It only covers the start of the ruins

Press Z To Interact With Things And Stuff In Pc

ah yes. UNDERTALE. a gameboy classic

Finally someone made my idea into something more normal lmao

very good!

I dodged the bullets in the flowey fight.
the ones you are suppost to get hit by.
cool

yeah, epic softlock

pretty cool game !

hey, short question, will you ever continue this?

you can go pass flowey! i improve!

This was a fun little endeavor. I also liked the visuals.

Even though in the video you expressed having trouble with the soundtrack, I actually thought it turned out neat. I really liked the track for the ruins.

I did not really encounter any problems with the gameplay other than one thing (even then not sure if it was an issue on my side or not). I could not figure out how to exit out of an action (specifically when trying to "act", I could not exit out in any way to choose a different option like "mercy" or "fight").

I wish you good luck with other projects, man!

Thanks! I honestly wish I did a bit more with the ruins song but I much appreciate it! The pixel art is definitely what I'm most proud of. It made me rethink how pixel art works.

hi this game is very cool too bad the alghoritm only blessed it now

really nice gg

(1 edit) (+1)

Could you make this game open source for me to edit? I was thinking of improving it for my own sake. I know how to actually make a save feature,  and there's a few things I could do.

(-12)

that was badly made but well done ig

(1 edit) (+2)

What a strange backhanded comment, if you can make it much better then feel free to do so.

(-7)

sadly i’m not a game dev but i wish i get that career TwT

(+5)

Well saying something is "badly made" is neither constructive or helpful. It just comes off as ill informed and rude

(+4)

You definitely haven't made a game before, it isn't easy and given the limitations that Gameboy hardware has, he did a really good job.

It's hard to make a game, much less one on 30 - 40 year old hardware.

retroachievements :D
